Courses on architecture, design and culture, and urban context are mainly taught by the department's architect colleagues Anna Szövényi DLA and Bea Polyák, in a shared teaching arrangement.

Levente Szczuka and András Szűcs, who have several years of experience as urban planners, usually discuss issues of urban management and planning with students. They will be joined by Anna Adorján, a teacher with experience as a town planner and landscape architect.

Dániel Laczó guides students through the world of architectural history.

Báthoryné Nagy Ildikó Réka Phd shares her knowledge about the maintenance and operation of public spaces and green areas in municipalities with students on a regular basis.

Other departments of the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Garden Art, MATE participate in the teaching of several subjects, and in many of them we invite experts with excellent knowledge of the subject.

Our highly respected and experienced former teachers continue to teach, including Dr. István Schneller, the founder of the Department of Urban Planning, Judit Korompay DLA, the Ybl Prize-winning urban planner, and Imre Körmendy, former President of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning. Our young PhD students are also involved in consulting and teaching several subjects.

During the teaching process, our teachers place great emphasis on the importance of personal consultations and the transfer of up-to-date knowledge.
