Department of Landscape Planning and Regional Development

The Department of Landscape Planning and Regional Development prepares students to apply modern ecological, technical, legal and economical knowledge and aesthetic principles to the development of large connected ecological areas, administrative units,  landscapes  to increase landscape potential, to coordinate the work of different sectoral representatives, to prepare landscape and environmental management plans, spatial planning and regional spatial development plans, and to plan  development of local tourism. The department responsible for  the high level implementation of administrative and operational concepts related to landscape and environmental management. The main profile of the department also  includes the teaching of high level geoinformatics skills. The department also organise regional scale planning courses in Landscape Management specialisation on BSc and on  the Master of Landscape Architecture.
