Education
Rather than simply delivering the curriculum in large frontal lectures, our department values the interaction between individuals, so we focus on active participation, workshops and community building.
Creative specializations require a lot of practice in addition to a comprehensive theoretical basis, so in both the Bsc Specialization and the Master courses in design, students will encounter many design tasks to help develop their creativity.
We emphasize both group and individual consultations because we believe that personal contact makes the content more understandable and likable. In addition to professional consultation, mid-year presentations also develop students' verbal and visual communication skills, which will prepare them for collaboration, communication and negotiation.
The acquisition of a complex approach is a key objective of our training. The operation, management and planning of municipalities require professionals with comprehensive expertise who can easily understand and address the problems and needs that arise. Our students are therefore taught to recognise and assess the problems and values of settlements, and to use problem-solving techniques. Through the professional experience and knowledge acquired during their studies, students will be able to process new problems and phenomena, to draw appropriate conclusions, which they can use in many areas of life.
